Radiator Booster Mk2 - cut your heating bills and make your home warmer (as seen on Dragon's Den)

A Radiator Booster is an innovative, lightweight, eco friendly product that uses a small fan to capture the heat that comes out the back of your radiator, circulating it better into your room. It will heat your room faster, save lost energy, and reduce your heating bills.

Simply place a Radiator Booster on top of a standard domestic radiator, and plug it in. It'll heat your room in up to half the time, allowing the boiler to shut down sooner, saving heating time and cost - all for a running cost of about 30p a year!

It's adjustable in size, has a built in thermostat and could save an average household between £70 and £140 per year.

    Place the Radiator Booster ontop of your radiator with the diamond shaped holes facing down. Plug in. Once the radiator has reached 32 degrees celsius the fan will kick in and suck the air up and push it out through the ends.

    A Radiator Booster can improve efficiency by as much as 50% by "sucking" the heat from the radiator and distributing it evenly around the room, in addition to reducing the heat losses through the wall behind your radiator. Cold spots are dramatically reduced and in most cases eliminated. Room warm up times are typically reduced by 50% and thermostats can usually be set 2 degrees lower. Overall a significant energy and cost saving.

    The clever fan arrangement within the Radiator Booster draws heat from your radiator, heating your room in up to half the time, allowing your boiler to shut down much sooner. If you could save just one hour a week of your boiler working, you would save 15 kilowatts of power. You could easily find the savings more than this, between 7 and 14 hours/week (over 100 kilowatts) during the colder months.

    Please Note

  • 32 degrees celsius is the radiator temperature NOT the room temperature. A typical radiator contains water at 70 to 90 degrees celsius when hot.
  • With radiators that have not been bled for some time it may take a little longer for the Radiator Booster to kick in. If that is the case, and your radiators need bleeding often, the auto vent might be helpful.
