Marmalade Recipes

Home Made Jam

Val Harrison making marmalade

Making marmalade is a great way to make use of the citrus fruit glut in the stores just after Christmas

The supermarkets often reduce the oranges and tangerines to a third or less of the pre-holiday price. Bag a bargain and enjoy it for the rest of the year

When you make it yourself the taste is far better than shop bought offerings unless you can afford the best on the market. But yours is cheaper and individual in flavour.

These are the latest marmalade recipes on our allotment growing web site. The links will open in a new window and take you directly to them.

You don't need a great deal of specialist equipment to make your own jams but some specialist equipment will certainly make things easier. We find the range at Lakeland to be good value.
